For Nicki Minaj’s upcoming episode of Queen Radio, the New York rapper will have a special guest.
While posting to Instagram yesterday (Aug. 10), Minaj revealed that her “Hot Girl Summer” collaborator, Megan Thee Stallion, will be a featured guest on her radio show. In her announcement, Minaj promises her fans that the show will have more surprises and be worthwhile.
“ATTENTION, BREAKING,” she began. “The STALLION will be on #QueenRADIO THIS COMING MONDAY. WE ARE STARTING PROMPTLY @ 12NOON PST. I have other surprises, but of course I’m not gonna tell y’all but it’s gon be a LEGENDARY MOTHAFKN SHOW. Stop drooling fellas dang look @ my babies @lala & @theestallion lookin like Barbies #HotGirlSummer OUT NOW #PrettyGang make noise!”
On Friday (Aug. 9), Megan dropped her latest track “Hot Girl Summer,” which features Ty Dolla $ign and the Queen rapper herself. A few hours after the song’s debut, the record made history as the first female rap collab to hit No. 1 on iTunes USA.
“Yikes. Herstory in the making. should I run up on meg today & go live y’all? Or nah? Y’all deserve it for showing me how to go live with her that night y’all was mad aggy that night, cussing me out & s–t but I listened to y’all & look what happened to god be the glory. love you,” Minaj wrote as her Instagram caption.
For Megan, having the opportunity to work with the Pink Friday musician is a dream come true. While on Instagram Live together, the “Big Ole Freak” spitter expressed her gratitude towards Minaj. During their conversation, Megan called Minaj a GOAT. “Stop playing with Nicki Minaj like she ain’t the motherf–king GOAT,” Megan stated. “Stop f–king playing with us, in the name of Jesus!”
