City Girls’ Yung Miami was the target of a drive-by shooting that took place in Miami earlier this morning (Aug. 6).
According to TMZ, Yung Miami and her unborn child were unharmed. Law enforcement received a call that a shooting occurred near Circle House Studios. Yung Miami was in the red Mercedes G-Wagon that took the bullet. In the video, Yung Miami is seen talking to the cops at the scene of the crime. The 25-year-old spitter attempts to describe the unfortunate event. She explains to officers that shots came from behind her vehicle and a bullet struck the spare tire of her wagon. Yung Miami was reportedly leaving the studio when it happened. The investigation remains ongoing and the media outlet reports no suspects at this time.
Back in June, Yung Miami revealed that she is pregnant with her second child. The announcement was made while promoting a trailer for a new documentary Point Blank Period Part 2.
In a post uploaded to social media, the 25-year-old rapper admitted being hesitant to announce her pregnancy because she wants to do what’s best for herself and her baby.
“I want this journey to be nothing but positive going forward and I wanted to share this with y’all,” she wrote as her caption. “No one knows what is best for me but GOD, and this was just his timing for me.”
Yung Miami, who is expecting with producer Southside, stated that she will continue to rise above negativity and get her job done. “I did everything they said I couldn’t because that’s just the type of woman I am and going to continue to be,” she said. “Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and life-changing, so I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for the City Girls!”
REVOLT TV wishes the best for Yung Miami and her unborn child.
