It looks like a fan did not have a good time while attending DaBaby’s recent concert.
According to TMZ, an incident went down on Wednesday night (July 31) at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines, Iowa. During the concert, a fan hopped on stage in hopes of scoring a video with DaBaby. As per witnesses, a security guard pushed the fan into the backstage area. In the video, a fan is pummeled by a massive individual. Ironically, in the video, DaBaby notices the fan getting attacked and does nothing. TMZ is unclear of whether or not the man attacking the fan is a part of security or DaBaby’s crew. A police report has yet to be filed.
Last month, we reported that the “Suge” rapper has found himself in more legal trouble. DaBaby was hit with a lawsuit for a fight that broke out before a scheduled performance. DaBaby was scheduled to perform back in May at Lawrence, Mass.’s Centro Night Club. A fight broke out between DaBaby’s crew and opening act Don Trag. As a result, Trag suffered injuries that sent him into a coma. Promoters hit the rapper with a lawsuit for breach of contract and explained that the rapper refused to reschedule the show.
In other DaBaby-related news, he spoke on the significance of signing with Interscope Records in a conversation with Billboard. The Charlotte native explained that he and his homie, Arnold Taylor, are blessed to have a deal with creative control.
“We were blessed enough to get a real good deal done,” DaBaby said in the interview. “They’re giving me way more creative control than artists get from other record labels. They really just want me to do me and change nothing. That’s the perfect fit for us. We plan on shedding light on the Carolinas as a whole. It’s time for us to be recognized nationally. We easily get blended with other cities in the South.
