Last week, Future’s bodyguard was sucker-punched by an angry fan at Ibiza airport. Today (July 31), the fan reveals his side to the story.
In a conversation with TMZ, the attacker says that Future’s muscle was asking for the beatdown. Marcus, the man who punched Future’s bodyguard, claims that he noticed when Future landed at Ibiza airport. According to Marcus, his friend asked for a picture to which Future responded: “Suck my d–k.”
Marcus revealed that his crew fired back at the Atlanta rapper and were ready to leave it alone. Following the exchange of harsh words, Future’s bodyguard allegedly followed Marcus and his crew to the taxi line where he kept harassing them. Towards the end of his explanation, Marcus explains that Future’s bodyguard invited his friends to come around the corner to fight.
Marcus’ account of what happened differs from what’s been said previously in the media. Future explained on Instagram that Marcus and his friends became angry when he declined to take a picture with them. Future also explained that the video is edited to make it seem as if he was nearby during the time of the fight.
“Basically these fake goons ask to suck my d–k for a picture I toldem NOOOOO,” he wrote on his Instagram stories. Apparently, they get angry and do sum sucker s–t… I left the airport, they edit the video they filmed and sent it to blogs real real tuf guys. What they did to security I didn’t see period, I’m not a witness to anything. Leave me out anything have to do with this incident.”
Marcus also claims that he and his crew did not use racial slurs. In the video, Marcus reasons that his friends are African-American and using words like that wouldn’t be appropriate.
Future’s team has yet to comment on the updated story.
