Earlier this month, Kanye West revealed that he had begun building low-income houses. Today (July 31), West continues to make that dream a reality.
As per TMZ, West is building dome-like structures in Calabasas that he believes will break the barriers that separate classes. The media outlet provided images of West’s project, which provides an exclusive look at 300 acres of land. For the past couple of weeks, construction crews have been hard at work. The dome-like structures stand around 50-feet high. Although the project is still in the early stages, West is using his time and research to ensure that the housing community is something everyone will appreciate.
It’s safe to say that Kim Kardashian West is proud of her husband. After his Forbes cover story released on the internet, Kim expressed how hard her husband has worked over the years.
“I watch how hard he works as he puts his soul into every idea & product that he creates. It’s of no surprise to anyone who works w Kanye that he has been able to turn millions of $ in debt into a billion-dollar empire in only 4 years – 100% on his own terms while owning it 100%,” she wrote on Twitter.
In addition to building houses, the Chicago spitter is also working on Sunday Service merchandise. Last week, we reported that The Life of Pablo rapper reportedly wants to trademark “Sunday Service” to create dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and clothing tops. If the trademark is approved, West will have the rights to sell his merchandise.
When he’s not busy building houses and obtaining legal documents for a trademark, West is staying up to date on matters in today’s society. The 42-year-old rapper and his reality star wife got in contact with Jared Kushner to see what could be done regarding A$AP Rocky’s assault case.
