Yesterday (July 22), a viral video appeared online of Future’s bodyguard getting sucker-punched by an angry fan who wanted a photograph. Now, the rapper’s team states that they were protecting Future from ending up like A$AP Rocky.

According to TMZ, a group of 10 guys harassed Future and his crew at Ibiza Airport. The guys called Future racial slurs when they were denied a picture. Prior to the fight, Future was reportedly upset, however, his team believed it was in his best interest to stay away from the scene. The viral video appears to be edited to make it look as if Future was nearby.

While on social media, Future explained his side of the story. The ATL rapper revealed that he was not at the scene of the fight.

“Basically these fake goons ask to suck my d–k for a picture I toldem NOOOOO,” he wrote on his Instagram stories. Apparently they get angry and do sum sucker s–t… I left the airport, they edit the video they filmed and sent it to blogs real real tuf guys. What they did to security I didn’t see period, I’m not a witness to anything. Leave me out anything have to do with this incident.”

Earlier this month, A$AP Rocky faced a similar situation in Sweden. A$AP and his crew were harassed by a group of guys who kept following them. Things took a turn for the worst when one of the men broke a pair of headphones on A$AP’s bodyguard and groped a woman’s butt. Following the incident, Rocky has spent a total of three weeks behind Swedish bars and is expected to hear the final decision on Thursday.

Sadly, it seems as if entertainers are being treated poorly in European countries. Recently, Quavo recalled being pinned down by the police while in Sweden.
