A$AP Rocky’s attacker has been cleared of all charges.

According to a new report from TMZ, the man who attacked A$AP Rocky and his crew in Sweden will not face any charges. Prosecutors believe the guy who harassed Rocky acted in a matter of self-defense. The attacker was never taken into custody during the investigation although Rocky was arrested a day after the incident. Rocky will be charged with aggravated assault. If he is convicted, the New York rapper faces up to six years in Swedish prison.

A final decision regarding the case is expected to be made on Thursday. Prosecutors and the judge will have Rocky remain behind bars because they believe he is a flight risk.

In the viral video, Rocky is seen trying to diffuse the situation at hand before matters took a turn for the worst. Prior to the fight, the attacker kept following A$AP and his crew, broke a pair of headphones on A$AP’s bodyguard and groped a woman’s butt.

Despite recent reports, Rocky doesn’t believe that race is an issue regarding his assault case. The 30-year-old spitter believes that mentioning race will only make things worse for himself.

A petition for Rocky’s release currently has over 624,000 signatures with a goal of 1 million. As the weeks go on, Rocky’s support system continues to express their disfavor for the case. Actress Jada Pinkett Smith made it loud and clear that she is unhappy with Sweden’s treatment of Rocky.

“Hold it … G-Eazy got to strike a deal a day and half after possession of drugs and assault charges??? But you’re holding Rocky. We got the message loud and clear Sweden. Trust me … we got it,” she wrote on Twitter after learning about G-Eazy’s situation that happened in Sweden.
