Major key alert: DJ Khaled has significant things in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, DJ Khaled will have two specials premiere on MTV. DJ Khaled: The Ride, a half-hour special, and DJ Khaled: King of Collabs, an hour-long special, will premiere back to back on July 31. The specials will highlight Khaled’s latest LP, Father OF Ashad, feature behind the scene footage and explain what fatherhood means to the platinum award-winning producer.

“Triple platinum award-winning artist and producer DJ Khaled is all about the hustle in MTV’s latest chapter of artist storytelling series The Ride,” MTV said. “MTV documents his journey to becoming a music mogul as Khaled reflects back on lessons learned, his achievements, including the chart-topping collaboration with Rihanna ‘Wild Thoughts,’ and his thought process as a hit-making producer, social media star, and business owner.”

While speaking on his upcoming TV specials, the “Higher” producer shared his excitement regarding the project. “I am so blessed to have MTV as such a great partner throughout Father of Asahd and always,” Khaled said. “We will never stop!”

Khaled’s work ethic is unmatchable. In a post uploaded on Instagram yesterday (July 18), Khaled thanked JAY-Z and Beyoncé for allowing him to work on The Lion King: The Gift. Khaled put his magic touch on the track “MOOD 4 EVA.”
