Over the weekend, Meek Mill shared his opinion regarding female rappers. The Philly native believes that Tierra Whack is the best female rapper in the world.

While on Twitter, the Championships rapper wrote: “The best female rapper in the world is @TierraWhack let’s argue.”

Nonetheless, the Barbz have stepped in to counteract Meek’s opinions. The fan group explains that Meek is still hurt from his breakup with Minaj, back in 2017. “Meek Mill knows Nicki Minaj is the best female rapper,” one fan wrote. “He’s just salty cos she’s in love.”

“Let that hurt go meek we all know who the QUEEN OF RAP IS NICKI MINAJ F–K OUTTA HERE,” another fan wrote.

Meek Mill wasn’t the only notable rapper to cosign Tierra Whack. Cardi B explained that Tierra Whack deserves recognition for her hard work.

“Let me tell you about some rappers that are really f–king dope, that be rapping they ass off, and I don’t feel like they get the recognition that they deserve,” Cardi began. “Tierra Whack, Kamaiyah, Rapsody, there’s this girl called Oranika…”

In a recent interview, Jermaine Dupri stated that female rappers of today spit about the same topics. During the conversation, Dupri was asked about Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.

“I feel they’re all rapping about the same thing,” he said. “I don’t think they’re showing us who’s the best rapper. For me, it’s like strippers rapping and as far as rap goes I’m not getting who’s the best.”

While speaking on Dupri’s comments, Cardi explained the backlash she received when she tried rapping about different topics.

“It seems like that’s what people want to hear. I ain’t even gonna front because let me tell you something. When I did ‘Be Careful,’ people was talking mad s–t in the beginning, like, ‘what the f–k is. This is not what I expected,’ she said. “If that’s what people isn’t trying to hear, then it’s like, alright, I’mma start rapping about my p–sy again.”
