As the #JusticeForRocky movement continues to grow, new details about A$AP Rocky’s assault case are coming to light.

On Friday, Swedish authorities announced that the two men allegedly seen on video fighting with Rocky and his associates are under investigation for suspected assault and molestation. Before his detainment, Rocky accused the men of instigating the fight.

“The preliminary investigation continues regarding the American artist who is detained by the Stockholm District Court in Sweden on suspicion of assault in Stockholm,” The Swedish Prosecution Authority stated in a press release. “There is also a preliminary investigation in the case concerning the aggrieved party who is suspected of molestation and assault.”

According to Page Six, the “aggrieved party” doesn’t refer to Rocky, but the two men Rocky and his entourage are accused of fighting. Authorities have also clarified that the suspected molestation isn’t in a sexual nature. The term is used to describe a violation in which a suspect “physically attacks someone or exposes someone to disruptive contacts or exposes someone to other ruthless actions.”

Officials appended, “the penalty for molestation is fines or imprisonment for a maximum of one year.”

Rocky will remain apprehended in Sweden until July 19 at the earliest. As we previously reported, Rocky’s lawyer expects the investigation to take three to four weeks instead of the initial two weeks already announced. After the investigation is concluded, prosecutors “must decide whether to file a prosecution or ask the court for a longer we detention period in order to finalize the investigation.”

Since Rocky’s arrest, friends, fans and celebrities like Rihanna, Al Sharpton and A$AP Ferg, have called for his release using the #FreeFlacko/ #FreeRocky hashtags. Earlier this week, an online petition named #JusticeForRocky called for Swedish authorities to release the rapper from jail. Tyler the Creator, Lil Yatchy and T.I. have vowed to not perform in Sweden, while Tyga has canceled an upcoming show in the country. Rumors have circulated that Rocky was under “inhumane conditions,” however, Rocky’s attorney has rebutted these claims and stated that his client is being “treated properly” since being in custody.
