Congrats, J. Cole! The 34-year-old rapper has confirmed he has a second child on the way.

At midnight, Revenge of the Dreamers III released to streaming services. On the album’s closing track “Sacrifices,” Cole shares a heartfelt message regarding his wife, Melissa Heholt. He explains that Heholt has stood by his side relentlessly throughout their relationship. Surprisingly, Cole informs listeners that the couple has a bun in the oven.

“She gave me her heart to hold, I still got that shit to this day/She ridin’ with me on the road, she ridin’ with me in the A/Huggin’ the block, huggin’ the block, okay/She gave me the gift of my son, and plus we got one on the way/She gave me a family to love, for that, I can never repay,” he raps.

Earlier this week, Dreamville released their documentary, Revenge. In the 30-minute film, viewers received an exclusive look at intense studio sessions and the making of the album.

“I had this idea,” J. Cole said. “Let’s go somewhere, lock-in and invite a bunch of outside producers and artists to come f–k with us and just make this album.”

Throughout the film, there were guest appearances made by Ari Lennox, JID, EarthGang, Bas, Cozz, Omen and Lute, others such as DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, T.I., 9th Wonder, Wale, Big K.R.I.T., Mike Will Made It, Ski Mask the Slump God and Rick Ross. Label president Ibrahim Hamad and the “Middle Child” rapper worked hard on the film’s concept.

“Cole’s like, ‘Man, we should make invitations,’” Hamad shared of the concept. “I was like, ‘Damn, that’s actually kinda genius.’ We literally got it out to people the day we got here, when we were supposed to do it ahead of time. That day, we just started seeing people posting, posting, posting.”

There is no word yet on the due date for J. Cole’s second child. In the meantime, check out the track “Sacrifices” below.
