Ty Dolla $ign’s drug case is officially a thing of the past.

According to a new report from The Blast, the 34-year-old artist has finished a drug program that exonerates him of all charges. The program, Second Chance, ran for a total of 13 weeks. Ty’s lawyer, Steven Sadow, was able to strike a deal that subjects Ty to random drug testing and requires him to stay out of trouble for a couple of months.

Back in September of 2018, the hitmaker was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer while in Atlanta. Law enforcement reported smelling marijuana coming from Ty’s car and found both weed and cocaine inside his vehicle. Regardless of the fact that there were five other people with him, Ty was the only one arrested.

“He had no drugs on his person at all,” Ty’s attorney Drew Findling said. “Apparently, there was a small amount of some drug in the car and they let five people walk away and the international superstar go into custody.”

Earlier this week, Ty teamed up with serpentwithfeet for a new track “Receipts.” The 30-year-old musician spent months working on the song. He recalled playing the demo for Ty who immediately wanted to hop on board.

“I began writing ‘Receipts’ when I first moved to Los Angeles last summer,” serpentwithfeet said in a statement. “I was and still am mystified by the city—the mountains, the men, the hummingbirds. I played an early demo for Ty Dolla $ign and he asked to join me on the track. This song carries a lot of weight for me because it’s a snapshot of two brothers rhapsodizing about unforeseen romance. Ty is a huge part of my L.A. story so ‘Receipts’ feels like a perfect document.”
