For the city of Las Vegas, Drake will always be remembered. On Wednesday (June 19), Madame Tussauds Las Vegas revealed their latest wax figure addition, which is none other than the 6 God himself.

The latest wax figure attraction pays homage to Drizzy’s 2016 “Hotline Bling” video. The wax figure is spot on with details matching Drake’s gray OVO sweatsuit, gold Rolex watch and Timberland boots.

While speaking to Billboard, studio manager Adam Morey explained that picking Drake’s “Hotline Bling” video as the inspiration came as a no brainer. He stated that he was inspired by the look of the viral video, which has surpassed 1-billion views.

“Fortunately, the viral internet sensation of one of his most iconic music videos was the driving design factor for the look and feel of the Drake figure and set at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas,” Morey explained.

Elsewhere into the conversation, Morey revealed the amount of hard work it takes to pull off a successful wax figure. He explained that it takes months of preparation to get the job done.

“Months of data collecting and research proceed the initial sculpting process in clay,” Morey stated. “Casts are then created from the clay sculpts that are in turn used to form the wax figures. The next step involves weeks of individual human hair follicles inserted into the face and head forming eyebrows and exact hairlines.”

As for Drake, he knows all too well about the details and timing a work of art takes. Yesterday (June 19), Drizzy announced in a series of Instagram photos that he is in album mode. His forthcoming project will serve as the follow-up to his double-album Scorpion, which released last year.
