Trey Songz is the proud father of a baby boy.

Thursday afternoon (May 16), the R&B singer sent fans into a frenzy by posting a mysterious photo of a baby’s foot. Later that evening, Trigga confirmed that he welcomed his first child, a son named Noah, on Instagram. “My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace,” he wrote alongside a prayer emoji.

The unexpected announcement took many by surprise, including rapper 50 Cent who commented, “What you talking bout Willis.”

Meanwhile, many of Songz peers, including Fat Joe, Pusha T, Sevyn Streeter and actor Lance Gross congratulated the 34-year-old performer. TMZ’s Van Lathan also called the bundle of joy a “blessing.” The adorable photo quickly racked up over a million “likes.”

Another person who wished the singer well was Trigga’s ex, Lori Harvey. The 22-year-old model and socialite shared that she was “happy” for him underneath the black and white photo of baby Noah’s foot. Songz and Harvey reportedly broke up in February after making things official late last year.

In related news, rumors have been circulating about the mother of Songz child. According to HotNewHipHop, sources claim an adult actress named Brittany Jones got pregnant from the singer while he was still in a relationship with Harvey. Songz has yet to confirm the reports for himself. His mother and brother have expressed their excitement over the latest addition to their family, as seen below.
