As exemplified in countless ways over the past decade and counting, 50 Cent is a man about his money. Several people have learned this lesson the hard way; possibly encouraging a man from the music mogul’s past to come forward to settle an unpaid debt.

As narrated on his Instagram account, 50 Cent had an interesting encounter during a recent Chicago trip. During his time in the Windy City, a fan came up to him at a meet-and-greet, confessing that he had stolen one of the rapper’s CDs when he was in the fifth grade. After owning up to his crime, the fan handed over twenty dollars to settle the debt and ease his guilty conscious.

“Why this n–a come to the store and give me this $20 right here,” 50 said in a video, showing off his latest earnings. “He said, ‘here take it…’ and said, ‘I stole your CD in fifth grade. The only person who knew about it was my cousin, but this b–h on some bulls–t so I know she going to go left on me. I don’t need you putting me all over your Instagram.’”

Naturally, 50 Cent found the encounter to be hilarious, especially given the fact he’s dedicated quite a bit of time to making sure everyone who owes him money, regardless of the sum, pays up.

Earlier this month, 50 Cent ruthlessly trolled the former “Power” EP, Randall Emmett, over an owed $6 million. Emmett claimed he was on his way to the emergency room, giving Fif plenty of material to document their hilarious text encounters on Instagram, as well as birthing a new inside joke with the misspelling of Fif’s name as “Fofty.”

In related news, 50 also worked on receiving money owed from Teairra Marí (stemming from a past lawsuit) and from actor Jackie Long over an unpaid $3,000.

Aside from making sure he doesn’t ever have to claim bankruptcy again, 50 Cent is also gearing up to celebrate the series finale of his show “Power,” which is set to end after the upcoming season airs later this summer. He has since assured fans he’s working on a spinoff and will be working with Starz to keep the regime going strong.
