Drake and Megan Thee Stallion recently hung out in Las Vegas and left fans wondering what the two emcees have up their sleeves.
On Friday (May 3), Megan Thee Stallion posted a photo of the two cozied up together and another photo of Drizzy hanging out with a group of her friends. While the photos, seemingly innocent, could have been taken as such, the internet quickly speculated there may be a romance brewing.
When one user left a comment insinuating such, Megan Thee Stallion was quick to shut it down. “You so lame,” she wrote in response. Meanwhile, other fans have speculated that the Toronto native will likely appear on a remix to Megan The Stallion’s burgeoning hit, “Big Ole Freak.” The song made its Billboard Hot 100 debut last month after garnering over 6 million views on YouTube.
“We made it on @billboard hot 100 hotties!!! Look I don’t have an album out yet, this is my first Entry EVER on the hot 100 chart, never got any handouts, I’m working my mf ass off everyday!” the 24-year-old wrote on Instagram at the time. “I just wanna tell y’all I AINT NEVER F—KIN STOPPING,” she added along with several fire emoji. “I love my f—kin hotties keep streaming BOF!”
During a recent radio interview, Megan revealed she has heard verses from two male artists that could potentially be featured on a remix to the track. “They reached out to me,” she confessed without disclosing names. “The guys, they want to be big ole freaks,” she joked.
Meanwhile, Drake has kept mum about his new friendship with Megan Thee Stallion. The Scorpion rapper recently made history taking home 12 awards and becoming the most awarded artist in the history of the Billboard Music Awards on Wednesday (May 1).
Only time will tell what Drake and Megan Thee Stallion have cooked up, but for now, a romance isn’t one of them.
