Kodak Black’s legal troubles continue to mount.

Following his recent arrest at the U.S. border, prosecutors in South Carolina are reportedly reviewing whether the 21-year-old rapper violated his bond conditions in his sexual misconduct case from 2017.

As previously reported, Black and three members of his crew were detained last week and each received a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana. U.S. Customs Agents allegedly discovered the drugs and loaded firearms in their vehicles after Black attempted to enter the country with a temporary California registration.

On Friday (April 19), sources told TMZ that the Florida native intended to drive himself from Detroit to Boston for a scheduled concert gig that evening, but misread his GPS tracker and somehow ended up in Canada.

Now, it appears his mistake could cost him more than he bargained for. In October 2017, Black (real name Bill K. Kapri) was indicted on criminal sexual assault charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at a hotel in South Carolina in 2016. Black has remained out on $100k bond and has been banned from the state while awaiting his trial.

According to new reports, if it is determined Black’s recent arrested was, in fact, a violation of his bond conditions, prosecutors are planning to move ahead with a hearing and ask that a judge revoke his bond.

Black was released from jail on Thursday (April 18) after posting a $20k cash bond. Over the weekend, the controversial rapper dyed his hair yellow which saw many comparing him to Lisa Simpson, a character from the long-running series “The Simpsons.” If convicted in his criminal sexual assault case, Black faces up to 30 years behind bars.
