Are Drake and Adele new BFFs? All signs point to yes.

On Wednesday (Feb. 20), TMZ reported the Grammy-winning artists hung out in San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles last weekend. According to the site, Drake, Adele, and a few other friends dined at Jerry’s Famous Deli, went bowling at Pinz Bowling, then rented out Chill N Vape Lounge to cap off their strictly “platonic” evening.

Unfortunately, the paparazzi didn’t catch any photos of their outing. In October 2018, the “Hello” singer attended Drake’s Aubrey & the Three Migos Tour and tweeted about her experience. “Oiii Champagne Papi blew my mind tonight! Best production I’ve ever seen hands down and way up there with one of my favorite shows of all time. Huge love,” she wrote.

When the Toronto native caught wind of her praise he reposted a screenshot of the tweet on his Instagram. “Oiiiiiii don’t f—king get me gassed right now,” Drake captioned the post. “I love this woman and she came to the show. Thank god nobody told me I would have been SHOOK.”

Drizzy and Adele’s L.A. outing marks the first time the duo have hung out since meeting backstage at his concert. They apparently “bonded” then and now we can’t help but think there might be a collaboration on the way.

In November 2018, Drake hinted at a follow up to his Scorpion album this year. During a tour stop in Edmonton, Canada he told the crowd, “Because I keep having nights like this that remind me why I love my job so much, I promise you that as soon as this tour is over, and maybe I’ll take a little break, I’m going to get right to work on a new album.”

Adele also reportedly plans to release a new album sometime this year. We wonder what the new best friends have up their sleeves.
