It’s safe to say Offset and Cardi B are working things out. The rap duo made headlines when they walked the red carpet at the 61st Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 10) and shared a tongue kiss while posing for photographers. All eyes were on the on again, off again couple during the award show ceremony, including the now-viral moment when Offset stuck his tongue out to let everyone know he was enjoying Cardi’s “Money” performance.
Cardi and Offset continued to pack on the PDA throughout the night. The Bronx native took a moment to thank the Migos rapper during her acceptance speech for Best Rap Album. “You, husband, thank you,” she said. “Nah, seriously, ’cause he was like, you’re going to do this album, girl. We’re gonna have this baby, and we’re gonna make this album.”
After a rocky few months for the married couple — Cardi recently admitted Offset suggested marriage counseling to help them overcome their marital woes — it appears the Offset is ready to share his story with the world. Immediately after the Grammys, Offset released a trailer for his new album and documentary which features footage of Cardi giving birth to their daughter, Kulture.
The Instagram clip also shows Offset on FaceTime with one of his sons and reveals behind-the-scenes footage of the Atlanta native recording his long-awaited LP. The rapper will reportedly address the events of his life over the past few years on his debut album, including his car crash which took place in May 2018.
Offset’s solo album was originally expected to drop on Dec. 14, 2018, the day of his 27th birthday. The album was pushed back in the wake of his relationship drama with Cardi. No word yet on the official album title or any guest features, but fans can expect to learn more about the project in the upcoming weeks as its set to drop on Friday, Feb. 22.
