On Monday (Feb. 4), news broke that Soulja Boy allegedly kidnapped an ex-girlfriend after a fight broke out at his California residence. The rapper’s team has since responded to the allegations by claiming they are false.

As reported by TMZ on Tuesday (Feb. 5), sources close to the rapper say that he “vehemently denies” attacking the woman and that the alleged victim, Kayla, is “flat out lying.”

According to TMZ’s sources, Soulja had been dating Kayla prior to the alleged incident, but ended the relationship. This resulted in her decision to show up to his home on Friday (Feb. 1) night in an agitated state. Upon arriving to his Agoura Hills area home, she had crashed her car in the driveway, due to being under the influence, and hit the curb. This resulted in a manager of Soulja’s coming outside and asking her to leave.

According to this new development, even though a fight broke out between the manager and Kayla, the 28-year-old rapper never went outside the home and therefore didn’t see the woman that night. Additionally, Soulja’s team says the injuries Kayla suffered were from the manager, who reportedly was acting in self-defense after being attacked by the ex-girlfriend. Kayla reportedly was treated at a local hospital the next morning. She claimed to have three fractured ribs and a concussion.

Soulja’s people are now reportedly referring to the allegations Kayla was kidnapped as “100% fabricated.”

Sources connected to Kayla, however, tell a different story. They say the rapper came outside to break up the fight, which led to Soulja tying her to a chair using an extension cord and leaving her in a garage for six hours.

As previously reported, the police did take a kidnapping report on Saturday and are still looking into the matter. It has not yet been confirmed that the kidnapping report that was filed was connected to the allegations Soulja Boy is now facing.
