Cardi B continues to level up. And this time, thousands of lucky fans will be able to reap the glorious benefits of her consistent and certified glow-up.
As reported, the Bronx rapper has officially been granted her own residency in Las Vegas.
This new career milestone means Bardi is set to join the ranks of Lady Gaga, Celine Dion, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Billy Idol and Jennifer Lopez, and more who have each performed during an extended stint in Sin City.
Per the announcement, the 26-year-old entertainer has signed on to perform a total of five or six shows over the course of the next year at the Palms Casino Resort’s new club KAOS.
The residency is set to begin this spring and continue through next winter. Additionally, G-Eazy, Kaskade, Skrillex and Above & Beyond are also set to join her with their own residencies at the club, which just reportedly underwent $690 million in renovations.
The news was leaked ahead of its embargo. This led to some confusion regarding details, such as dates and ticketing information. While Cardi B has not yet publicly addressed the upcoming residency to her millions of followers, the venue confirmed the featured residencies via its website on Wednesday (Jan. 23).
Recently, Drake also hinted at his own mini-residency at Vegas club XS, adding to the laundry list of reasons why Las Vegas continues to be a premier tourist destination. He reportedly inked a $10 million deal to perform at what he referred to as his “new home.”
Next up, Cardi is set to take the stage at Atlanta’s Super Bowl Music Fest and then, the Grammy Awards. Although she has repeatedly turned down several offers to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show, she will instead appear in Pepsi’s annual (and highly coveted) televised commercial.
