Lil Wayne is no stranger to going above and beyond when it comes to his craft. So much so that the legendary rapper decided to update his widely-praised Tha Carter V album with three new songs.

The long-awaited project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, with the new update giving fans even more material to run through and put on repeat.

Prior to taking over “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, the bonus tracks — “What About Me” featuring Post Malone, “In This House” featuring Gucci Mane and the Tay Keith-produced solo offering “Hasta La Vista” — were added to his twelfth studio album. The first track, “What About Me,” previously featured Sosamann, while the other two have never been released.

Hours after the project was updated on digital platforms, Weezy F. executed his third appearance on the reputed late night show. Naturally, he had to bring a couple special guests along with him.

First, Wayne performed “Can’t Be Broken,” inviting Halsey to step in and lend her vocal talents to the chorus.

While the singer doesn’t appear on the original version of the track, it’s clear the pair have a connection of sorts. Prior to the televised performance, Halsey got a spontaneous tattoo featuring the beloved rapper’s handwriting. The new ink features a scale in between the words “sins” and “forgiveness,” celebrating both artists being Libras.

For his second and final song, Weezy recruited Swizz Beatz for a lively rendition of their powerhouse banger, “Uproar.”

On top of dominating the “SNL” stage, Wayne and Future appeared in a skit on the episode during which the rappers were joined by The Booty Kings (Chris Redd, Kenan Thompson) and Uncle Butt (Pete Davidson). The rappers and actors teamed up for a posse-cut parody exploring themes of consent and respect.
