Even though Kodak Black recently joked on Instagram that women only want to rob him of money he doesn’t have — even doubling down by claiming he uses fake money as props for his music videos — it turns out the rapper is simply allocating his hard earned finances to another cause.
Taking to Instagram, the Florida rapper addressed the possibly self-started rumor he’s strapped for cash by revealing that he is planning on building a school in Haiti.
“I Got My Grandma A Mansion In Haiti,” he wrote, captioning a photo of himself on Instagram. “I Feel Like We Still B Goin Thru Slavery …. Out Of All The Times I Donate Or Give Back In Anyway I Never Upload Or Broadcast it. But I’m Happy To Say I’m Building A School In Haiti As Well.”
Kodak is the son of two Haitian immigrants. Although the rapper left details out about his mission, he does seem eager to share more about what he’s got planned for the country in the future.
Kodak — who was released from jail back in August — also recently noted how much his life has changed since establishing himself in the rap game. He explained how he’s no longer a “project baby” due to his success and how he’s happily enjoying life in the suburbs.
In related philanthropic news, French Montana recently announced his plans to build a preschool in Morocco. For his latest charitable endeavor, French will be aiding two different classrooms in the Sabae School of Fida-Mers Sultan.
