Yesterday, just a day after dropping her latest single, “Money,” Cardi B appeared on Ebro Darden’s Beats 1 radio show where she was asked about the follow-up to her April debut album Invasion of Privacy.
She told the host (at the 4:45 mark), “The plan was always to drop, like, a bonus. But I just didn’t [think] I was going to be so busy doing back-and-forth, back-and-forth things after I gave birth. Oh my God, my schedule is so flooded. Maybe [it’ll drop] in December or just maybe January. I don’t know. It’s just songs that I felt like were really good songs that didn’t make the album because it was sent in too late, or my nose was extremely stuffy—you saw how fucked up I was.” (Ebro confirms that around the time Cardi was nearing her due date, her sinuses were severely affected.)
See you in the winter, folks.
