This month, REVOLT is turning 5 and we’re celebrating the only way we know how… by throwing a massive celebration all weekend! Starting the morning of Saturday, October 20, we’re rewinding the clock to take us back through highlights from our wild first five years. It all leads up to the world premiere of “99 BOMB ASS MOMENTS,” an epic 3-hour special (Sunday, October 21 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) that looks back at 99 of the biggest, wildest, and most important moments from REVOLT TV history! Until then, here are three of our favorite moments from 2015.
Babyface’s “Music Talks With Andre Harrell”
“Music Talks With Andre Harrell” was a major moment in REVOLT TV’s history each and every time that the music businessman hosted the special event. One of the best segments was when he sat down with chairman Diddy. However, we’ll discuss that moment at another time. This special 2016 moment has to do with Harrell’s interview with famed singer/songwriter Babyface. It was full of gems that every music lover who watched appreciated learning music facts from the famed artist’s perspective from beginning to end.
REVOLT Specials — MLK Now
In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, which is on Jan. 15, REVOLT paid tribute to the late civil rights activist and political leader. With a special segment titled “MLK Now,” special celebrities such as Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan, J.Cole and more came together to speak about how much Dr. King’s work and legacy means to them. It was definitely a moving, inspirational moment that REVOLT pioneered in the year 2015.
Puff Daddy & The Family perform at the 2015 REVOLT Music Conference
Puff Daddy was back in full effect when he reunited with his Bad Boy family to perform a whole set of the label’s most iconic songs of all time. The nostalgia was so real all throughout the incredible show. Along with other infamous Bad Boy signees such as Lil Kim; as well as other famed artists like Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, son King Combs and more, the show was full of fun times and great energy. It was great to truly see that everyone really is Bad Boy fo’ life!
