Top Dawg Entertainment, as a staff, a record label and a m’fing crew, really is a blessing. Earlier Tuesday (April 17), the West Coast-based imprint released a promotional video for the roster’s upcoming Championship tour, one that is certainly anything far from average.

The four-plus minute “commercial” stars the likes of Pulitzer prize-winner Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, SiR and Lance Skiiwalker, all of whom are embarking on a group tour across the nation, set to kick off this May.

Much like any championship game, one must prepare accordingly, with the visual offering a hilarious behind-the-scenes look into how the TDE camp is doing exactly that. Featured activities include running, lifting weights and playing sports like golf and tennis. Spoiler alert: fans should definitely be thankful the squad is sticking to music instead of pursuing new careers as aspiring professional athletes.

However, while the lighthearted video is all fun and games, SZA recently spoke about how it is important to train one’s body for life on the road, sharing during an interview with GQ that she experienced a wake-up call of her own when it came to getting in shape for putting on an incredible live music experience for fans.

Needless to say, the life of an entertainer is no walk in the park and TDE is putting in work to make sure they come correct come tour time.
