After teasing a summer delight earlier this week, DJ Khaled has returned with not only the title to his brand new album, but also the star-studded first single featuring JAY-Z, Beyoncé, and Future called “Top Off.”
The rollicking track is as braggadocios as it gets and finds the trio basking in their high profile. Between chants of “Free Meek” from both Jay and B to the latter spitting a Hot 16 of her own (“If they trying to party with the queen, they gonna have to sign a non-disclosure”), the song backs up Khaled’s claim for the summer starting “now.” It also adds weight to the rumors of a potential Carters collab album dropping soon.
“Top Off” is available below on Tidal, along with other streaming services, and is set to appear on Khaled’s upcoming album, Father of Asahd.
