Kendrick Lamar and TDE played an integral role in Black Panther, together curating the chart-topping soundtrack for the record-breaking film.

Considering the outpouring success of the movie, and more importantly, how it has brought together communities across the nation, it’s only fitting that the Compton rapper is thinking about how he can get involved in the (increasingly likely) event of a sequel.

During a new interview appearance on BBC Radio 1, Lamar responds to a question asking if he’d consider making a cameo.

“Come on, I got to now!” he replied, beginning around the 36-minute mark. “I really enjoy Killmonger’s character, just off the simple fact, you know, he was a villain but he came with some real [talk]. He was a villain, but he was loved and misunderstood. So if I could, I’d play a Killmonger for sure.”

Could you imagine Kendrick Lamar as a Killmonger-inspired villain?! Oh the possibilities…
