Season two of MTV’s Fear Factor premieres this Sunday (February 25), and the resurrected game show (which pits a group of contestants up against some extreme challenges for $50,000) is hosted by none other than Ludacris.

“We got renewed; you know that don’t happen often,” joked Luda while visiting The Breakfast Club. “That’s why we’re here. We gotta talk about it.”

The rapper also spoke with hosts Charlamagne tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy about if he’d take on any Fear Factor challenges, drama within the Fast and Furious family, and the craziest thing he’s ever done.

On if he’d do any of the Fear Factor challenges: Absolutely, but they won’t allow me to do them. I don’t know if it’s liability issues or insurance issues, but let me just keep it clear: part of the reason I even signed on to do this is because this is a part of my personality. I’m a thrill-seeker. I love doing stuff like that and watching stuff like that. I just love to have fun, and it’s exciting.

On the craziest thing he’s ever done: Probably jumping out of a plane, twice, skydiving. And one of them was here in New York state. I loved it. One time was in Hawaii and that was the greatest ever, because obviously while you’re floating you’re seeing the island and the water. It was during the Pro Bowl.

On Tyrese saying he turned down a The Fast and the Furious spin-off: That’s my brother, so sometimes when he puts things out there, it’s okay for me to retract certain statements and give it from my perspective and state the facts. An offer is something written down that someone actually gives it to you, as an official offer. Now, there were talks about a spin-off. We had numerous discussions about it. I remember us putting out on Instagram and on social media, ‘What would ya’ll think about there being a Tej and Roman spin-off?’ Fans were replying to it saying they think that would be great. But to answer your question, no. There was no official spin-off.

On his current relationship with Tyrese: We are brothers at a very strong disagreement right now and I can honestly say that. And here’s the thing, it’s nothing that can’t be reconciled. It’s not anything that should cause alarm as I’m sitting here talking about these things, because he has openly talked about these things himself. But everyone kind of needs a retreat every now and then. Everybody needs to detoxify. Everybody needs a break.

On Atlanta artists performing at the Superbowl halftime show: I was having this conversation with some people, and I had to look at the history of the people that have performed at the Superbowl. And I can’t recall there being a rapper that headlined. It may have been a rapper that featured.
