R. Kelly has reportedly been evicted from one of his homes tied to his alleged sex cult in Georgia.

As reported, the 51-year-old R&B crooner has been kicked out of his mansion in Duluth for allegedly failing to pay $23,084.90 in back rent and $2,308.49 in late fees, resulting in his eviction.

According to the Daily Mail, Kelly’s residence appeared to be abandoned when the eviction notice was served earlier this past week. The reports claim that no one was home and that the rooms were “considerably bare.”

Kelly was accused of operating a sex cult inside this exact mansion last year, following an explosive report published by Buzzfeed in July 2017. The singer has since publicly denied all allegations, including that he had been holding multiple women against their will at the property.

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him,” attorney Linda S. Mensch, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times. “Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

While Kelly has not been charged with any crimes related to the claims, the ongoing scandal has presumably taken a toll on his financial status, with a source close to the situation citing decreased ticket sales and several show cancelations as reasons why he fell behind on his rent payments.

According to reports, the owner of the home is also expected to file criminal charges due to damages to the property.

At the time of this report, a representative for R. Kelly has not yet responded or addressed the matter.
