This year, Travis Scott is on a mission — “mission 28” to be exact. “I’m going crazy all the way till Nov. 28,” the rap master collagist tells Billboard in a new interview. As for the significance behind November 28, Scott explained that it’s merely a theoretical timeline. “I’m trying to get shit turnt.” And “turnt” was how the Houston rapper closed out 2017, when he released his long-awaited collab project with Quavo, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho. But even with all the anticipation that preceded the since-released album, fans are still clamoring for Scott’s third studio album, Astroworld.

In the Billboard cover story, the “Butterfly Effect” rapper dropped a few hints about the album, which is still a work in progress. For one, the album will be accompanied by a tour at some point. Plus, according to its A&R, Randall “Sickamore” Medford, it will be loosely inspired by Houston. As far as potential guests, Scott has one man in mind: Stevie Wonder.

“My next album is going to have Stevie [Wonder] ” Scott said. “Well, I’m trying. We’re talking.” It helps that Wonder’s 16-year-old son Kailand Morris happens to be a big fan of La Flame. Back in September, the rapper performed at Moriss’s 16th birthday party.
