Fresh off the news that his sophomore album from 2011(!), Take Care, has been charting on the Billboard 200 for nearly six years, Drake is still keeping it moving with a new track reportedly titled “God’s Plan.”
The cut could be the Trippie Redd collaboration that DJ Flippp revealed back in October.
But for now, the latest tease only features Drizzy’s vocals and comes in the form of a video clip making its way across social media. Reportedly filmed inside of a nightclub where the song premiered, Drake can be heard singing:
“I hope you don’t come and start no trouble with me / Trying to keep it peaceful is a struggle for me / Don’t pull up at 6 a.m. to party with me / You know how I like it when you lovin’ on me / I don’t wanna die for them to miss me.”
Drake also took to Instagram earlier today (January 3) to post a series of photos of himself in the studio. In them, he’s surrounded by soundboards, headphones, chargers, equipment, and large-scale images of Jimi Hendrix and Sade.
