Sean “Diddy” Combs may have thrown a grand New Year’s Eve party last night (maybe the grandest NYE extravaganza ever) at his estate on Miami’s Star Island, but he still found time to what looks like broker a deal in part for REVOLT TV.

With the so-appropriate “Bad Boy Having a Party” playing in the background and throngs of revelers outside enjoying the night, Diddy pulled a few people inside his house, including Joe Budden.

Sitting on a sprawling staircase, the REVOLT Chairman asked the lethal lyricist and controversial cultural analyzer about his 2017. Joey Jump Off humbly talked about his newborn son, Lexington, who he recently had with reality TV star Cyn Santana.

“I had a brand new baby,” Joe began to explain. “Her eyes—I’m blessed—but he looks like me. He’s healthy. 8 pounds. He eats a lot, not a crier. He sleeps. This year has been the best year of my life. Thank you, Cyn. Thank you, Lexington, thank you to the fans.”

Always with his eyes on the prize, Diddy then dove in and asked, “Are you ready to get money with me? That’s it.”

Joe responded with a grin and asked Puff if he was ready to get money together.

Diddy said it was time to “put this Black Excellence on a whole other platform.”

There have been several erroneous reports the past week that Budden had already secured a five million dollar deal for his popular “The Joe Budden Podcast.” Budden recently left Complex‘s “Everyday Struggle” web series due to what he calls financial and creative differences.

In addition to Budden and Santana, Diddy welcomed a wide array of stars to his party at his home including Trey Songz, Busta Rhymes, Jeezy, Travis Scott, La La Anthony, Jussie Smollett and Gabby Sidibe from Empire, Faith Evans, Lil Cease, Future and, of course, his party co-host for the night, DJ Khaled.
