As we quickly approach the end of the year, we at REVOLT find it not only important to look excitedly ahead toward the future, but also to glance over our shoulders at this past (incredible) year in music.
Simply put, with so much good music put out over the course of 2017, we think it’d be unfair to rank each album — most of which achieved massive success in their own ways — on some nondescript merit system. We’ll leave that to the other guys.
Instead, in the jolly spirit of promoting the artists we love and sharing our reasons why, this week, we’ll be rolling out a five-day-long Year In Review retrospective, which will shine a light on our favorite projects from the year via brief analyses and breakdowns of each offering.
In an effort to keep fans in tune with our ongoing conversation, each day of REVOLT’s Year In Review will be marked by an interactive hashtag, which you can use to ask us why a certain album made the cut, or just to tell us why you agree!
