Thanks to a push from Ellen DeGeneres, Will Smith has decided to finally join Instagram for the first time.
The beloved talk show host actually helped the famed actor get started with the social media platform during a recent appearance on her talk show, but as it turns out Smith is a natural content creator.

For his first handful of posts, the 49-year-old has shared a duck face selfie, a mirror selfie and a throwback of him as a baby, among others, with Justin Timberlake deciding to offer some friendly advice to help welcome his friend to, well, the 21st century.
“Welcome to Instagram @willsmith,” Timberlake wrote, sharing a photo of him and Smith from the 2013 VMAs. “This is called a #TBT. Which means Throwback Thursday. Which is a photo you post on Thursdays that you like, that was taken in the past.”
Smith, however, wasn’t with it, offering a rebuttal that he’s not totally unaware of the hashtag trends and what the kids are doing these days.
“I know what Throwback Thursday is, man. I ain’t been in a hole,” Smith responds, sharing a video of him addressing Timberlake. He then–hilariously or awkwardly, you decide–gives JT some advice of his own, reminding the singer to avoid any and all nip slips during his upcoming Super Bowl performance, all while flashing his own nipple. Yuuuup, Smith takes it there. Can’t help but wonder what Jaden and Willow are thinking of their dad joining the platform, but either way, fans are definitely welcoming it, with Smith already impressively racking up over 1.5 million followers in the past 24 hours alone.
