Big Sean and Metro Boomin have teamed together for a new joint album, titled Double or Nothing.

In a new interview with Billboard, the “Bounce Back” tandem announced the upcoming collaborative project, which does not have a release date, but is currently being mixed.

“I was born in ’93,” Metro Boomin told Billboard regarding the inspiration for the project. “And a lot of projects [from that era] had one producer, maybe two. They sounded more cohesive — better as a whole.” Reiterating Metro’s point, Sean added, “That’s one of the things me and Metro are like-minded on. Maybe it has something to do with us being from the Midwest. We have that goal of wanting to succeed not just for ourselves, but for everybody who’s listening.”

The announcement of the new album comes after Sean and Metro surprised fans last month with, what is now considered to be the first single off the album, “Pull Up N Wreck” featuring 21 Savage.

Double Or Nothing is now the fourth latest collaborative project that Metro Boomin is attached to. This year alone, he was a part of Droptopwop with Gucci Mane, Perfect Timing with Nav, and Offset & 21 Savage’s Without Warning.
