Although Meek Mill is currently incarcerated, after being sentenced to two to four years for probation violation, the rapper is still doing what he can to get in the holiday spirit.
As reported, Meek’s annual turkey donation event, “A DreamChaser’s Thanksgiving,” will still take place this year, despite Meek, unfortunately, being able to physically participate.
According to reports, Meek’s team will hand out 1,000 turkeys Wednesday (Nov. 22) to families in need in the rapper’s hometown of Philadelphia.
The times and locations are:
11 a.m. EST at Unity in the Community
12 p.m. EST at Bible Way Baptist Church
1:30 p.m. EST at Martin Luther King Rec Center
2:45 p.m. EST at Strawberry Mansion Learning Center
Additionally, Colin Kaepernick recently got in contact with Meek, saying that despite the unjust situation, he’s “in good spirits and humbled by the support the people have shown him.”
