Disney has officially announced the full cast for its upcoming CGI adaption of The Lion King, confirming rumors that Beyoncé will voice the role of Nala.

Additionally, the beloved singer will be joined by the likes of Donald Glover (Simba), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Chiwetel Eliofor (Scar), Seth Rogan (Pumbaa), Alfre Woodard (Sarabi), Billy Eichner (Timon), John Oliver (Zazu), Eric Andre (Azizi), Florence Kasumba (Shenzi) and Keegan-Michael Key (Kamari). For the child versions of the main characters, Shahadi Wright Joseph will voice Nala with JC McCrary playing Simba.

As previously reported, Jon Favreau is directing the live-action film, following up his successful 2016 remake of The Jungle Book.

“It is a director’s dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life,” Favreau said in a statement.
