XXXTentacion pledges to make $100K donation to domestic violence prevention
BY KC Orcutt / 10.20.2017
A year ago, back in October 2016, XXXTentacion was arrested on a variety of charges, including aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness-tampering.
While he doesn’t go to trial for the aforementioned charges until this December, the 19-year-old is already looking to begin making amends with the women he has “disrespected or made feel violated.”

Hours after news broke he had signed a lucrative, multi-million dollar deal with Capitol Records’ indie distributor Caroline, the rapper took to social media to pledge a new donation of $100,000 to go toward domestic violence prevention programs.
“Also another thing, I want to apologize to every single woman that I’ve ever disrespected or made feel violated, by me, saying i am ‘insensitive’,” X wrote, with the post appearing on his Instagram story. “I dont take back the remark in a general statement, but I do want to say I would never intentionally try to make a woman feel uncomfortable or in danger by my own conscious will so in order to show progress in my life and show remorse for my remark to the people that support me I want to let you know, that I will be donating over 100 thousand dollars, to domestic violence prevention programs!”
While the rapper didn’t elaborate further, omitting details such as which organizations he will be donating to, if and when he does follows through with his generous pledge, it certainly will help make a difference towards the fight against domestic violence.
