Update 9:25PM ET: According to KTLA, Young Dolph had to undergo surgery following the shooting and is currently in critical condition.

Additionally, it was reported that Dolph was shot after getting into an argument with three other people outside of the Loews Hollywood Hotel shortly after 1pm PST. At the time of this report, police have detained one suspect, while two others remain at large.

Update 8:00PM ET: Per TMZ, police have detained one suspect in connection with the shooting.

Young Dolph was shot in Hollywood, Calif. minutes ago.

According to FOX 11 and the LAPD, he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The shooting occurred outside the Shoe Palace store inside the famed Hollywood and Highland Center. The mall houses the Dolby Theatre, home to the Academy Awards.

TMZ reports that no arrests have yet been made, and that it remains unknown how many shooters there were.

Hours before the shooting, the 32-year-old rapper, born Adolph Thornton Jr., posted a photo of himself on Instagram.

Earlier this year, Dolph was the victim of an alleged murder attempt when at least 100 shots were fired at his SUV while in North Carolina. Fellow rapper Blac Youngsta turned himself in before getting released on bond.
