The success of Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN merch seems to have given TDE some serious retail aspirations. Yesterday, the Cali-based label launched its own dedicated capsule, making a play for the increasingly graying area between music and fashion.
The capsule is comprised of hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, caps and a stylized hockey jersey that will run you $110. Considering the popularity of the pop-up retail model around album releases and tours, it makes sense that TDE is striking while the iron is hot. Perhaps down the line we’ll see more collection-oriented merch a la OVO, but only time will tell.
You can shop the full assortment via TDE’s official website. Prices range from $40 to $110, so there’s definitely something for everyone.
