On the heels of a hot freestyle streak, which saw him flipping records like Weeknd’s “Party Monster” and Drake’s “Free Smoke” to name a few, and a slew of standout showings on collaborations, Harlem’s Dave East delivers his much-anticipated EP, Paranoia: A True Story.
Featuring appearances from Nas (“They Hated”), Jeezy (“Paranoia”), Wiz Khalifa (“Phone Jumping”), and French Montana (“Maneuver”), Dave’s first full-length release under Def Jam Records is finally here. The rapper recently spoke to Billboard about the project, which happens to be a follow-up to last year’s Kairi Chanel, and detailed just how personal this True Story really is. “There were a lot of stories that I didn’t really touch on, like super-detailed and specific moments that I haven’t really spoke about on records,” he shared.
