With a reported 40 or 45 tracks the didn’t get to make their recently released LP, Humanz, Gorillaz release their newest single “Sleeping Powder.” This is the first new song from the group since the album, which should be delight of fans who have been thoroughly enjoying their fifth studio LP. In his chat with Zane Lowe prior to Humanz, Albarn revealed that he’s got an crate of Gorillaz songs to finish up that stretches beyond the 19 that appear. “I’m just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them,” he told Lowe in the same interview. “I can stay in the game for at least another 18 months, I reckon.” Well, here’s proof…
