Hot 97’s Summer Jam is soon to be upon us. Sunday is when we’ll finally see Faith Evans and Friends’ 20th anniversary celebration of The Notorious B.I.G., who could be making a potential appearance as a hologram.
Mister Cee and Lil Cease, who will both be performing with Evans, previously gave REVOLT TV their take on viewing the technology in-person, and now the rapper’s son has weighed in.
Christopher “C.J.” Wallace stopped by REVOLT TV’s office in Los Angeles recently and gave his thoughts about seeing his dad immortalized onstage.
“Regarding the hologram of my dad, that’s gonna be highly anticipated at Summer Jam this year, I don’t think I’m ready honestly,” C.J. said. “I’m really anxious to see how they pull it off because [the] Tupac [hologram] was amazing. It’s gonna be crazy and it’s in New York, so it’s really gonna be frickin’ crazy. I think people might lose their minds.”
He added, “I’ve seen all of the performances but I don’t think this will be anything like watching [that]. I’m really, really, really excited. I’m definitely going to be there.”
Summer Jam takes place at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey and also includes performances by French Montana and Friends, DJ Khaled and Friends, Chris Brown, Fat Joe and Remy Ma, Joey Bada$$, Jidenna, Desiigner, Tory Lanez, and Trey Songz among others.
