An alarming news update arrived this morning (June 2) after it was reported that R&B singer Brandy recently fell unconscious while on a Delta flight as it was getting ready to depart LAX and head to JFK.

According to TMZ, Brandy “fell into unconsciousness,” flight attendants and passengers came to her aid. Officers and firefighter-paramedics responded around 7am to the report of a person who was “unconscious or almost unconscious,” as ABC 7 also reported. The singer was removed from the plane and later “regained full consciousness” before being taken to a nearby hospital.

Brandy was reportedly in “stable” condition when taken to the hospital.

This news comes as multiplatinum-selling, Grammy-winning performer is set to headline the LA Pride Festival later this month.
