52 years ago today we lost legendary black political activist, Malcolm X. Also a prominent speaker and Muslim minister, X became a member of the Nation of Islam and led people of color to defend themselves by any means necessary.

Along the way, X inspired thousands of people with his prolific words, leaving an impression and an undeniable impact on cultures of many colors. With quotes like, “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything” and “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today” anybody can relate!
