Big Boi stays clean at all costs – even if he has to leave Earth space to make it happen.
In the music video for his Adam Levine-assisted single “Mic Jack,” a frustrating visit to the dry cleaners to pick up his threads turns into a trip outer space before ending up with a dance party back on Earth. The Maroon 5 frontman, meanwhile, serves as an unwitting laundromat worker looking for Big Boi’s clothes.
Big Boi premiered “Mic Jack” on Beats 1 with Zane Lowe in April, and performed the song with Levine on Wednesday (May 17) night’s episode of NBC’s The Voice. “Mic Jack” and “Kill Jill (ft. Killer Mike and Jeezy)” are both slated to appear on Big Boi’s third solo LP Boomiverse, which is scheduled to drop on June 16, 2017. The Outkast member’s latest project is 2015’s Big Grams, a collaborative album with Phantogram.
