Report: Jeezy sued in wrongful death case

The lawsuit stems from a fatal 2014 shooting.

Jeezy is being sued in a wrongful death case stemming from a 2014 murder, according to TMZ.

In August 2014, a concert promoter named Eric Johnson was shot at least 5 times and killed while backstage at a Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa concert in Mountain View, CA.

Johnson’s family is now suing the rapper, claiming that an eyewitness told the local police department that the shooter looked like Jeezy. The witness then repeated that claim in a deposition. Additionally, the family says the same source picked the rapper out of a photo line-up, and that a second one described the shooter to a police sketch artist whose illustration resembled Jeezy.

The family is suing for funeral expenses and other damages.
