While enjoying the sun, the vibes, and the desert in California for Coachella 2017 this weekend, Drake seemingly experienced an unfortunate turn of events at an exclusive country club near the festival grounds.
Taking to Instagram, Drake posted the logo of the Madison Club, located in La Quinta, and followed it up with the following caption, “The most offensive place I have ever stayed in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling.” Shortly after post went live, the photo and caption were deleted from his IG page.
Although he didn’t further explain his stance against the club, which dubs itself as “the most exclusive private residential community in La Quinta, California offering the finest golf and club facilities in an intimate and sophisticated setting,” the post received close to 200,000 likes with several comments.
In separate news, the OVO captain also performed over the weekend with Future, during the rapper’s set Saturday night (April 15). Relive the moment here.
