If you’re a fan of Maxwell, it’s no secret that this “King of Hearts” honors his Haitian roots and opened his heart to the non-profit organization Artists for Peace and Justice, along with Daniel Craig, Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller, Sean Penn and more.
Founded by Oscar-winning screenwriter and producer Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby and Crash), APJ encourages peace and social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement in communities around the world. APJ also supports communities in Haiti through programs in education, healthcare, and dignity through the arts.
